WWE Royal Rumble 2015 Predictions

Royal Rumble 2015

I’m going to watch the Royal Rumble this Sunday and I’m looking forward to it. The Royal Rumble is my favourite event of the year along with Wrestlemania. Admittedly, I haven’t really been following it for the past year but I did get back into it when Daniel Bryan made his return. That and Sting making his first ever WWE appearance at Survivor Series…that was such a surreal moment. =)

Anyway, I decided to take this opportunity to share my predictions on what I think may happen…

Pre-Show.     New Day vs Cesaro, Tyson Kidd and Adam Rose

It may be short and sweet but I think the New Day will win. They’re popular with the crowd and from the audience point a view a win for the good guys will whet their appetite for the evening.

  1. The New Age Outlaws vs The Ascension

It’s nice to see Road Dogg and Billy Gunn again but I think the Ascension will win this match. It will be a good example on how the classic veterans put over the new generation and make them look strong in the tag team division. If the New Age Outlaws win then I think it will discredit the new and uprising tag team.

  1. The Usos vs The Miz and Damien Mizdow

I really want the Miz and Mizdow to win as I find them hilarious but I think the Usos will win. If the Ascension are going to go for the tag titles then the ideal place will be Wrestlemania. Since they appear to be bad guys they will need to face a tag team that’s probably popular, I.E., the Usos. With that reason in mind I think the Usos will win this match and keep hold of the titles at least when Wrestlemania comes.

  1. Paige and Natalya vs The Bella Twins

I think it would be cool if Paige and Natalya will win but I think it will be a win for the Bella Twins.

  1. John Cena vs Seth Rollins vs Brock Lesnar

Hmm… I have to say that this match is the hardest to call. I think any outcome of this match is likely. However, whatever happens, I do think that Brock Lesnar will lose the title… unless, he wins the match and the Undertaker makes a surprise entrance in the Royal Rumble, wins, and goes on to face Lesnar at Wrestlemania for the world title. Oh my, that would be some rematch. =D That would be an exciting outcome but I highly doubt that will happen. I can’t see Lesnar retaining his title.

My prediction is that either John Cena or Seth Rollins will win this match… anything could happen in this match. Cena could win the title and Rollins cashes his Money in the Bank. Or it could be that Cena wins and Rollins “cashes in” but doesn’t win the title as he is somehow thwarted by Sting.

  1. WWE Royal Rumble

In an ideal world, for me, Seth Rollins wins the title, Daniel Bryan wins the Rumble and they face each other at Wrestlemania 31 in the main event. I think that will be an amazing match. But… unfortunately, I can’t see that happening.

It seems like WWE wants to continue the feud between Bryan and Kane. I think Bryan will enter the Rumble and Kane (probably when eliminated) eliminates Bryan which continues the feud. They will either face each other at the following pay-per-view or at Wrestlemania 31.

Rusev could win the rumble and face Cena in the main event. Then it will be the whole USA versus Russia angle. I think if anyone is going to give Rusev his first loss it will be someone who won’t tap out to his Accolade, I.E, John Cena and Daniel Bryan. On this occasion I think it will be Cena.

Bray Wyatt, Roman Reigns and Dean Amrbose are all good candidates too.

I like to see Adrian Neville and Sami Zayn in the rumble, even if they’re in the match for only a matter of minutes. Since Neville lost the NXT world title it could elevate him a push on the main WWE roster. I can see him having a great feud with either Wyatt or Amrbose. =)

It’d be great to see Scott Hall participate too. For many years I always wanted to see Scott Hall coming out to Razor Ramon’s music and enter the rumble. Since he appeared in the Raw Reunion episode perhaps there’s a chance that he’ll appear in the Royal Rumble too?

  1. Sting’s Future Involvement

I’m super excited that Sting has finally made his appearance in WWE.

I knew that he was part of the WWE system but I didn’t really think that I would see him in the actual WWE ring. His new theme is growing on me a little but I feel that they should have used his classic crow theme for his actual debut. His sudden appearance certainly caused a big impact but I still think they should have used his old theme for a short period. I wonder why he isn’t using his baseball bat. It’s his trademark weapon. Perhaps he’ll introduce it if or indeed when he faces Triple H?

It’s no secret that he wants to face the Undertaker but I think WWE are gearing him up to face Triple H. In the WWE 2K15 panel he said that he’d like to face Triple H as well. Since he keeps on thwarting Triple H’s schemes I think it could lead to a Wrestlemania match.

In an alternative ideal world it would be Seth Rollins vs Sting at Wrestlemania, Sting vs Triple at Summerslam and Sting vs Undertaker at next year’s Wrestlemania. However, it seems to me that Sting rather go up against wrestlers from his own generation (i.e., Triple H) rather than the younger generation.

So far I like the angle that they’re doing with Sting. He is being the vigilante who keeps on thwarting the Authority from getting their own way. It’s similar to the situation he was in when he was in the angle with the N.W.O. back in the WCW days. We know that he’s a vigilante and his “finger point” was clearly directed at Triple H, but it’s a matter of finding out why. I don’t want to guess why this might be but it makes me look forward to seeing Sting more. I highly anticipate that we will see Sting in the Royal Rumble pay-per-view. =)

Non Non Biyori Wallpaper

Right now I’m currently watching the FA Cup updates. Liverpool and Bolton are coming on TV later and I’m looking forward to it. Afterwards I’m going to listen to the Non Non Biyori drama CD that came recently. I’ve been waiting for a while for that to arrive and it’s finally here. =)

Thanks for reading.

WWE Raw and Liverpool Experience

Raw in Liverpool

Winter Greetings.^^/

  1. Post-London, Pre-Raw

A lot has happened in November, especially around the time when I went to London. I found that even though I came back home, I still couldn’t really relax my mind. It seemed that everything was happening at once and I was dealing with lots of things at the same time. If it’s one thing, I usually find a way to work with it. However, too many things give me a head mush. At that point it did feel like my head was about to explode.

To cut a long story short, I had to make a decision whether I wanted to go to a surprise birthday gathering and to WWE Monday Night Raw with a few of my peeps. For the life of me I could not decide what I wanted to do. I enjoy celebrating the happiness of other people but I decided to reject the party invitation in the end. There would be lots of people there that I did not know. I didn’t fancy it in the end and decided not to go.

*

I haven’t watched Raw in weeks. I sort of lost interest in WWE since Daniel Bryan and Bad News Barrett became absent. Did I really want to go to this live event when I wasn’t feeling very well? Not just any event, but an event that I’m not really that into at the moment. I literally decided to go in the last minute, an hour before I was being picked up.

It was at that point when I started to rush around. I had a shower, washed my hair, picked out my clothes and had dinner. I got it in my head as well that we were eating out, but I received a text explaining that we weren’t…oh my. So, with quick thinking, I had jacket potato with melted cheese. I fancied doing beans but as I was on my own I didn’t want to risk doing anything to myself. It’s one thing to harm myself if my parents were around, but if I’m on my home and cooking, that could spell trouble…

I tried to relax, but I couldn’t fully relax. I felt sick, dizzy, had a poorly chest and was eating a luke warm jacket spud. Haha…you’ve got to laugh in those situations. =) I decided to go to Raw as I already paid for my ticket, and, it could be interesting.

  1. Liverpool

The other reason I didn’t want to travel to Raw is because it was in Liverpool. Travelling to this city appears to be a bad omen to me. Throughout my life, every time I go to Liverpool, something goes wrong. It’s not that I dislike Liverpool it’s just that Liverpool dislikes me. XD

  1. I was going to college (which borders Liverpool) but went to the completely wrong campus! I think the driver was taking me to the technology campus. So, I was an hour and a half late for my first college class…. Later on, it was established that I was in the wrong class. Then, it was established that I was actually in on the wrong day. So yeah… I won’t forget about that day in a hurry!
  2. My Dad was taking me to Liverpool, since he used to be the kit man for a none-league side, when we broke down… the policeman helped us, but he came up to me and said ‘this is all your fault!’ It took us a full day to travel back home.
  3. I went to Liverpool to support the Foundation Degree students by watching one of their theatrical productions. However, we got completely lost and had to turn back. We asked for directions but none of the locals knew where the performance location was… silly people.
  4. I was going to perform as the violinist at the Maritime Museum and we were going to take the train, but…the train was cancelled so we had to walk in the scorching heat, take 4 buses, one underground train, and we made it with 15 minutes to spare. We only had time for one full rehearsal.
  5. We went to the theatre to watch Jonathan Pryce in a Harold Pinter production, but the show was cancelled because he was ill…

I really hoped that this trip to WWE would break my trend. I’m sure some day Liverpool and I can settle a truce and drink a J2O like old buddies. =) …that night wasn’t going to be one of those days though, as an incident occurred. It’s a recurring joke that I bring bad luck to Liverpool, but what happened was not a funny matter.

There was a car crash on the motorway involving four cars, which in turn made the roads very busy. I felt instantly bad. I thought “they had a crash because I came to Liverpool.” Thinking rationally now, that’s not really the case. Accidents happen all the time, especially when drivers get impatient on the road. Regardless of everything, I pray that they are all safe and recovering at the speed of light.^^/

  1. WWE Monday Night Raw

We just made it with five minutes to spare. It was an absolute rush. I don’t handle travelling very well, I tend to get sick. I felt unwell to begin with, but the long journey didn’t really settle me. It unsettled me more when we had to rush to our seats, and that took a while too. A gent actually hijacked one of our seats so we had to ask him to move.

The show started pretty quickly. Well, actually, it began with WWE Superstars. Then, it went to WWE Raw. All the while I was still battling with my emotions and tried to focus on the show. The trick I used was taking photos and video clips for my Uncle. I sat on an end isle seat as I could escape whenever I want. However, the Echo arena was a very big arena and I didn’t really fancy getting lost in that building. Haha.

The biggest chants were “Where’s our network?” Apparently, this does not bode well with the WWE officials. When Raw was on TV, they edited this out as best as they could. Other bigger chants were Miz and Mizdown, Dolph Ziggler, Big Show, Sheamus and the crowd.

The crowd were bantering with each other. If the match bored them then they would find a way to entertain themselves. One guy held up a sign but he had that confiscated by a security gent and everyone chanted “you sold out!” The biggest boos were directed at another security guard. The bottom crowd were playing around with a beach ball during the Sheamus and Rusev match. He got heavily boo’d when he confiscated the beach ball, probably more than Cena. They chanted “you suck!”

The intro was funny, when everyone chanted “John Cena sucks” that went along with his entrance song. The UK really does have a good crowd.^^/

I didn’t join in with any of the banter as my head was really bad and I felt unwell. The sheer noise was not very pleasant, and it did detract from the Raw show somewhat.

Paige got a few standing ovations. I know I stood up and clapped, and I even went down a few steps so I could snap a good picture of her. =) I liked how Lilian Garcia sang our national anthem, it was sweet and touching. Some of the top tier crowd were booing though and chanting about the network. I thought that was disrespectful and in bad taste, but I just ignored them and listened to the anthem.

I also liked the Sting promo and Triple H making an appearance. I kept on anticipating Bad News Barrett making a sudden appearance though, and was gutted when he didn’t.

When the show finished we all darted out asap. I thought the show was ok but I was certainly glad when it was over. I would say that I’ve enjoyed last year’s Raw more, this year I somewhat lost interest in WWE and I was going through a lot this time around. I am focusing on what I enjoyed about the show though, rather than recalling what went through my mind at that moment. I know I’m talking all about it now, but I’m feeling much better and more open to talk about it. =)

  1. Going home

I was asked if I wanted to take a detour to McDonalds on the way home. I declined. It didn’t matter whether I was hungry or not, I just wanted to go home. When I got home my Dad bought me and my Mum McDonalds. I was pleasantly surprised as I didn’t know that there were any McDonalds that were open 24/7.

I’m not a fast food lover, but sometimes fast food is better than no food. 😉

THANKS FOR READING

I was spotted on TV courtesy of a close friend. It’s a blur, but my T-Shirt has made it on TV. I was spotted during Paige’s entrance. Haha. Fame at last. =D Here is the picture.^^/

Me on TV

I wasn’t going to upload this blog until I give account of the 1st Year Anniversary blog, which I plan to post on the 16th November. I’m still recovering from a very busy couple of days. However, my gut instinct told me to upload this blog right now instead of waiting.

With all that is said and done, I can finally relax. I have nothing pressing to focus on. It’s always important to remember to focus on the positive points. It can be hard at times when your head is in a mush, but it’s not impossible. And I like to think that I’m capable of doing that, even when I’m not in the best state of mind.

I endure a lot inside with my Autistic quirks but I always mask my face and feelings with a smile. =)

See you all for now.

Living a Happy Life

keep-calm-and-think-happy-thoughts-9

May Tidings.

I’m going to take this opportunity to talk about life. It may seem serious, depending on how you look at it, but that’s not my intention.

WWE are known for many controversies but they also do a lot of amazing things. Like, for example, Make-A-Wish Foundation where people who are seriously ill get their wish and meet their favourite superstars. I’d explain it but you can just watch the video below, it’s only 5 minutes long so shouldn’t take any of your time away. =)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xfS0deQlgHw

Did you watch it? What are your thoughts? I find Connor to be a very strong boy. He was ill but here he chose to focus on the positives and be himself rather than feel sorry for himself. I find that to be amazing and it shows how strong people like Connor really are.

Young people like Connor do make you think about life in general. To me, it’s something that you should never take seriously. Sure, there are many hardships for many people, I’ve had many hardships when I was little, but at the end of the day it all depends on how you look at life. I know what’s happening in the world and many things happened in my past that I didn’t like. Sometimes, it can be painful to recall those memories (depending on my mood) but, sometimes, life guides you through unexpected journeys.

I learnt in my years to let things go and appreciate what I have and what I am. There are things I can’t change. The only thing I can change is my perception and views on life. My view on life: Be happy.

John Lennon said it himself. His mum told him that the most important thing in life is to be happy. So, when his teacher asked him what he wanted to be when he grew up, he said he wanted to be happy. The teacher said that he didn’t understand the question and John replied that he didn’t understand life. A very compelling quote right there. =)

What Connor has shown in that video, the point I’m sort of trying to make, is that whether you live until your 10 or 100, you should fill that time by focusing on what makes you happy. We all go through hardships but those hardships should not hinder your chance of being happy. Dealing with those hardships make you strong and make you who you are. Being alive and happy in this world is an amazing feeling. =)

Life is worth living, and I’m living the life I want to live and focusing on the things I love in the given moment. =)

Post WrestleMania 30 Review

Image

Good Evening.^^/

It was one of those nights again where I went over to my brother’s, stayed up half the night to watch WWE wrestling. It wasn’t just an ordinary event though, it was Wrestlemania 30. =D I’m now going to share some of my thoughts on the segments and matches.

Opening Segment

It was a cool touch seeing Hogan, Stone Cold and Rock in the ring together. That slip up from Hogan when he said silver dome instead of super dome is definitely a memorable moment. The Rock was funny on the mic. In my opinion, this was a great way to kick off Wrestlemania 30.

Daniel Bryan vs Triple H

This was a fantastic match that had both elements of storyline and wrestling. I heard that Triple H beefed himself up in order to compete in this match, he certainly looked strong when he came out. My first thought was ‘My word, his neck’s disappeared!’ But then I thought ‘Wait, did he actually have a neck to begin with?’ XD Regardless, he looked the part.

I genuinely couldn’t anticipate the outcome of this battle but the match as a whole pleased me greatly. Triple H can still perform and he had one heck of a match with Daniel Bryan. This is without a doubt my favourite match of the night.

The Shield vs Kane and the New Age Outlaws

This was a pretty short match compared to Daniel Bryan and Triple H.

I would have liked to see the Shield perform for a little bit longer but I can see why this was made into a short match. Roman Reigns looked like a beast, with that double spear to the New Age Outlaws. The ending was just as cool with both the New Age Outlaws being at the end of the Powerbomb.

Do I believe in the Shield? …Yes. 😉

André the Giant Memorial Trophy Battle Royal

This was built up to make it look like Big Show would win. I felt that it would be more then appropriate that Big Show would win the trophy.  In truth, I was actually cheering Big Show to win but then surprise, surprise Cesaro won.

I most definitely did not see that coming. It was clever not to announce that he was participating or show his entrance. It seems like he’s going to become a face, which I approve, it could mean that he’s gunning for a championship once again. The way he threw Big Show out of the ring was most impressive and I’m glad to see the sportsmanship after the match.^^/

John Cena vs Bray Wyatt

Quite decent match.

There was quite a lot of deep psychological storyline from John Cena’s point of view. It seems like not only was he battling with Bray Wyatt but he was mostly fighting with himself. With the way the match was going it made you think that he was going to turn heel. I.E., beat Bray Wyatt down, go past boiling point, and beat him up more than necessary.

In the end it was John Cena’s victory. He might have won the battle but did he win the war? It would be interesting if this leads somewhere in the future, even if his feud with Bray Wyatt has ended.

Vickie Guerrero’s Divas Championship Invitational

I wonder how the Female wrestlers felt since this match happened right after the Brock Lesnar and the Undertaker match. AJ Lee winning was pretty much what I had expected. Although, the way AJ moved Naomi’s hand to make it look like she ‘tapped’ was very humorous to watch. =D

Triple Threat for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship

I thought that Batista was going to win this match since I figured that it would have been part of his contract. I was surprised again when Daniel Bryan defied the odds and ended up winning the title. It was truly a magnificent sight.

I have been following Daniel Bryan’s career when he was known as the “American Dragon” Bryan Danielson. Never in a million years would I have thought that not only would he be in WWE, be the most popular superstar but, he would go on to headline Wrestlemania and win the championship! I’m very pleased for him. I wore his “YES” shirt and I chanted proudly when he won. Haha.

Bryan wrestled for just under 50 minutes in both matches combined. I’m calling it now, I want to see a 60 Minute Iron Man Match in next year’s WrestleMania between Daniel Bryan, Seth Rollins, Cesaro and Adrian Neville. XD!

I’m hoping that Randy Orton is ok. When he used the RKO (well, technically Neckbreaker. XD) on Daniel Bryan it looked like he landed on the small TV monitor thing. He looked like he was in a lot of pain and I wouldn’t be surprised if he doesn’t wrestle for a couple of weeks.

Finally, this wasn’t the last match but it’s the match that I have the most views on…

Brock Lesnar vs The Undertaker.

I wasn’t really engaged with the hype and build-up of this match. Like a lot of people out there I automatically assumed that the Undertaker was going to win. I just thought that Brock wouldn’t gain anything from ending Undertaker’s Wrestlemania streak since he’s a part time wrestler. Then, to my utmost surprise, Lesnar pins the Undertaker for the 1-2-3! =O

I was literally dumbstruck and so was everyone in New Orleans. You could’ve heared a pin drop, it was that quiet. I actually don’t think the commentators knew that the Undertaker was going to lose since their reaction seemed genuine.

I can’t really say that I approve of Undertaker losing, especially at Wrestlemania, but don’t necessarily agree with him losing to Brock. What did Brock gain from beating the Undertaker? In my opinion if the Undertaker was going to lose his streak he should have lost it to someone of the future like Daniel Bryan or Roman Reigns.  Not to someone who performs part time. Is there a secret motive to Brock Lesnar winning? Or is Lesnar going to become a full time wrestler from now on?

I felt a bit sorry for the Undertaker in general, watching the match it looked like the Undertaker was struggling to walk. Was his age catching up with him? Or are his legs going? I did get the impression that Lesnar was holding back as usually he could pound his opponents down with no remorse. He didn’t do that with the Undertaker.

So, with all that in mind, it begs the question, what of the Undertaker now? I’ll toss up a couple of theories now.

The Undertaker’s Future

What I’m thinking now is a mixture of what I’d like to happen and what could happen.

It’s no secret that Sting wants to fight the Undertaker, and it’s no secret that we all want that to happen. Since Sting’s TNA time is over the rumours of him coming to WWE have been stronger than ever.

I propose that the Undertaker and Sting have been in talks about how to make their match as realistic and most anticipated as possible. They have to make it in a way where the Undertaker and Sting are equal. Perhaps they’re working it for the following WrestleMania?

But, how do you get Sting and Undertaker on equal footing? If Undertaker goes undefeated against Sting then we can all guess for England that the Undertaker will walk away the victor. However, since he lost to Brock Lesnar, if that match between Taker and Sting was arranged then that would make them equal. So, maybe that’s the main reason why Brock beat the Undertaker. The Undertaker wanted someone to beat him for the build-up to his match against Sting and the only wrestler that could legitimately beat Taker was Brock.

I have been speculating all this time that Sting will make an entrance on Monday Night Raw, the one after Wrestlemania and interrupts Undertaker’s “retirement” speech.

There’s a strong chance that the Undertaker will come out on Raw this evening, make an “important announcement” and then Sting comes in and make his WWE debut for the first ever time. =D I seriously want that to happen and I would love it more if he gets back his crow look and crow music from his WCW days. I especially hope for the silent Sting, where stories were told with his eyes rather than through speaking. =D

I say all this but most of it is just me hoping to see Sting in the WWE, especially against the Undertaker.

If Sting should appear in the WWE then I would want to be taken by surprise. It’s because of that reason that I’m avoiding all media as much as I can. I can’t wait for Raw tonight. =D

Winding Down

Phew!

I never planned to make a Wrestlemania review but when I woke up very late this morning/afternoon I suddenly had the urge to.

Boy, did I go to bed late last night, and I’ve got badminton this evening! I’m definitely going to sleep sound tonight. =D

WWE Royal Rumble 2014

Image

Headlock Tidings! ^^/

Last weekend I spent at my brother’s until the early hours. We played the who am I? game (this time I didn’t give anything away!) as well as Dungeons and Dragons.

Admittedly I wasn’t so keen on D and D at first as I found it too confusing and kept on getting things wrong. I felt rather guilty because I was under the impression that I got everyone frustrated because if my continuous misunderstandings. It turns out that it was all in my head. Luckily I have a better grasp of how to play it more efficiently.

The main purpose of going that very evening was to watch the WWE Royal Rumble 2014. This means staying up until early hours of the morning. I always had great difficulty sleeping anywhere if it wasn’t in my own bed. Gradually, over time, I was able to overcome this obstacle. It’s still fairly rare for me to stay the evening at someone else’s place though. I usually only ever do this when a major WWE event is on, like Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania.

I think it all started when I visited a friend’s house when we worked on my project for Uni. It took longer than expected and so we all worked a long time. I stayed and worked on that project from 4pm to 5am! I wasn’t so concerned about myself because I was very focused on completing my task. I had a few impromptu naps as well. So, I think I showed that I can do something like this if I really need to. From then on I tried my best to not worry about staying over. I just think, in those moments, “What do I feel like doing? Am I up for staying up until the early hours?” Each and every single time my answer will change depending on how I feel. I wasn’t up for it so much last year but I was up for it this time around. =)

As for the Royal Rumble event itself… it certainly had some interesting twists and it has obviously bought much controversy. When I say controversy, I meant huge negative criticism from social media. Instead of giving you my thoughts on this news I’m just going to focus on what I enjoyed about this event. =D

The pre-show match was good; it was certainly nostalgic seeing the New Age Outlaws back in the ring again. Not only that, but winning the tag team titles! I bet they would never have guessed that they’d win the tag team titles again after 10 years. Goldust and Cody Rhodes were good too. What does anyone think about Goldust doing a forward flip on the outside? For a man his age that is quite amazing. It goes to show that no matter how old you are- at the end of the day age is just a number. =) I’m 25 but I never felt a day older since I started college. =)

Daniel Bryan against Bray Wyatt was an amazing match! I was thoroughly engaged with the story and action that these two wrestlers shared. It did leave a somewhat sour taste in my mouth when Bryan lost though but I do think there was a good justification there. Bryan suffered from a concussion in real life a couple of weeks back and Bray Wyatt took advantage of that. So, it was probably legitimate that Bryan lost because he wasn’t 100%.

Roman Reigns…what a beast. Ever since the Survivor Series I made a prediction that he was going to break Kane’s record and eliminate the most superstars ever in a single Royal Rumble match. And I was right with my assumption. =) I’m pleased that he got into the final two, he looked very strong and monstrous.

As soon as Batista was announced to be a Royal Rumble participant and confronted Randy Orton I sort of knew that he was always going to win this year’s Royal Rumble. The timing of his return was rather odd but I think he’s starring in an upcoming film in WWE studios. Perhaps they’re trying to raise Batista’s profile to promote the film? Whatever the case it won’t change the fact that Batista won.

For me I would have liked CM Punk, Daniel Bryan or Roman Reigns to win the Rumble. You could say that I no longer believe in the Shield, I believe in Roman Reigns! =D

Have a nice day! Bang! Bang! ^^/
